On October 22, 2023, our four novices – Joshi Bernard Raj goddam, Sneha Rose Kocheril Varghese, Maria Josephine Sorna Mary and Anuradha Sual Singh – took the bold step of making their first religious profession at the Delegation of St. Francis of Assisi in India, in the presence of many sisters, religious, family members, friends and supporters.
They have reached this moment of total dedication after spending several years in the Congregation and having undergone formation as aspirants, postulants and, finally, the novitiate.
The Holy Eucharist, during which their profession took place, was held in the church of St. Sebastian. Chellanam, presided over by Rt.Rv..D. Joseph Kariyil, Bishop of Cochin. The act of religious profession was received by Sr. Cacilda Rosa Joaquim Torcida Gamboa, Superior General of our Congregation. With the act of their religious profession, they placed themselves in the hands of the Lord and committed themselves to living their lives for His glory, following in the footsteps of our Foundress, the Venerable Sr. Mary Jane Wilson. The celebration became devotional and meaningful with an appropriate liturgy and a melodious choir.
